SMS Messaging Terms

Last updated: September 12, 2026

Clear consent for service messages

InvoicifyAI supports service-related SMS conversations and appointment notifications for participating businesses. Message recipients choose whether to receive appointment texts and can opt out at any time. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

These SMS Messaging Terms apply when InvoicifyAI sends or processes text messages for a business using the Service. InvoicifyAI is operated by 14768868 Canada Inc., a federally incorporated company in Canada.

A business's acceptance of these terms governs its use of InvoicifyAI's SMS features. It does not provide consent on behalf of that business's customers or other message recipients.

1. Messages covered by these terms

  • Replies to a conversation that a recipient starts by text message.
  • Appointment confirmations and related service updates after the recipient expressly agrees to receive them.
  • Appointment cancellation requests and responses, including requests made by replying CANCEL APPT.
  • Operational notifications sent to authorized business staff.

Messages may be generated or handled by Ava, an AI receptionist. The message identifies the business on whose behalf it is sent where appropriate.

Before sending an appointment notification, Ava asks the recipient whether they want the confirmation texted to the number they provided. Silence, an email preference, or merely providing a phone number does not count as consent.

  • Consent is optional and specific to service-related SMS.
  • Businesses must use SMS only for lawful communications and must obtain and preserve any consent required by applicable law.
  • Businesses may not use these features for purchased lists, unsolicited bulk messages, harassment, or deceptive communications.
  • Opt-out and wrong-number requests must be honored promptly.

3. Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with conversation activity, appointments, and the recipient's preferences. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient's mobile plan. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP to opt out of messages from that sender. A confirmation may be sent after the opt-out request.
  • Reply HELP for assistance or contact the business directly.
  • Reply CANCEL APPT to request cancellation of an appointment. Identity or appointment details may be requested before a cancellation is completed. Ambiguous requests may be referred to the business for review.

Opting out of SMS does not cancel an appointment or prevent the business from contacting the recipient through another lawful channel.

5. Privacy and message data

We process phone numbers, message content, timestamps, delivery information, consent and opt-out records, and identifiers needed to connect a conversation to the correct business and service record. Twilio processes SMS traffic as our communications provider, and ElevenLabs processes conversations for the AI receptionist. We do not sell mobile information or share SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details about processing, retention, security, and privacy rights.
